Our Story

Castlegar Hyundai was founded in September 2009 by Keith Kalawsky, who transitioned from a financial journalist to the automotive industry. After joining Kalawsky Chevrolet in 2006 and gaining specialized training in automotive management, Keith saw an opportunity to bring Hyundai’s innovative and high-quality vehicles to the West Kootenay Region.

Today, Castlegar Hyundai proudly serves Castlegar, Nelson, Trail, Rossland, New Denver, Kaslo, Creston, and surrounding communities.
