Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) have an electric powertrain and motor that is powered by a large battery. These vehicles are 100 percent non-emitting. You “fuel” them by plugging into a wall outlet or any of the convenient EV charging stations to charge up the battery.

Charging Made Easy With Hyundai EVs

Charging your Hyundai EV doesn’t need to be complicated.

Level 1 charger (1.4 kW) which is the standard household outlet, takes approximately 48 hours for a full charge.

Level 2 charger (7.2 kW) can provide a full charge in between 7 to 10 hours.
 

Level 3 charger (minimum 50 kW) can provide up to 80% charge in between 1 to 2 hours.
 

Models using the e-GMP platform (IONIQ 5 & 6) can charge from 10-80% in 18 minutes using a Level 3 charger with 350 kW. Charging times are estimates based on manufacturer testing charging output and vary by model depending on the current state of charge. Consult your Owner’s manual for more information on charging.
